History of the Nugget

1992

Our story began in mid 70s, when the five founders of Nugget worked together in a semi-state IT company in the engineering business. In 1992 decided to set up their own development company and while working on a foreign system project for our market they realized the need for a local payroll module. Large foreign „software packages“ at that time often included payroll, but their solutions were not applicable to our market. So the company came up with their own and almost didn't sell their solution. Steep growth followed. Sales and customer numbers doubled every year and Nugget quickly became the market leader.

2000

Great the milestone came in 2000, when a new version of Windows was launched. The new version was again very successful, attracting another segment of customers and securing growth for years to come. Even in the new millennium, the company was still among the top 3 systems in the country. In 2006, Nugget expanded its offerings to include payroll outsourcing. A number of existing clients also switched to this and many are still outsourcing in this way today.

New millennium

In the following years, an advanced version of the system was developed with communication via web services.

For the next few years Nugget continued to grow, but the market situation was changing. Times began to favour the larger providers. Smaller local companies found it harder to compete with the big players in tenders, especially if the client was a large international company. Nugget started seek a strong international partner, with which it could work and be more competitive.

2019

He eventually found him in an international consulting network RSM, who bought the Nugget in July 2019. The integration was completed in January 2020, when Nugget was renamed RSM Payroll Solutions CZ. Although almost 30 years have passed since Nugget was founded, most of the founders and original developers are still actively working for Nugget, contributing to its further development and, together with a new part of the team, making sure that clients receive better and better services.

Nugget today

Thanks to this nearly 30-year tradition and an experienced team that trusts and knows its product very well, the Nugget SW highly stable and reliable.

Many of the 400 companies have been with Nugget for a long time, including well-known names like Staropramen, Laufen, Jika, Danone, Trellerborg, Plzeňský Prazdroj, Mercedes Benz, Unilever, Radio Free Europe, PricewaterhouseCoopers, NN Pojišt'ovna, Porsche ČR and many others.
